Treasured.

As Mary went along through her life, she made a point to stop at specific moments and ponder them. She wanted to put a marker up at that moment in her life so she did not forget it. So much happened in Mary's life that she could have easily been in survival mode, scraping by just trying to get through. But instead, she was conscious about what the Lord allowed her to experience and she treasured that time.

How many times do we miss God? How many times does God do something miraculous in our loves that he wants us to pay attention to that we simply miss? We don’t take the time to stand back and see what exactly happened. I think that we can learn a valuable lesson from Mary because she learned to treasure moments in her life. She cherished God-sized moments. We have to actively seek to remember the good.
